Day 2
Arrive Johannesburg – Maun (Internal Flight)
Touch down in Johannesburg in the morning and connect directly to your flight to Maun, Botswana’s safari gateway. On arrival in Maun, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. Day 3
Maun – Central Kalahari Game Reserve
After breakfast, meet your expert safari guide and board your custom 4×4 safari vehicle for the journey into the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The drive takes five to six hours across ever-changing scenery — from village life outside Maun to wide open grasslands and dry riverbeds. Pause for a picnic lunch en route. Arrive at your private serviced mobile camp set deep in Deception Valley, your base for the next three nights. Day 4
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive into Deception Valley. During the green season, the once dry plains burst with new grasses, drawing springbok, wildebeest, giraffe, and predators in search of prey. This is the realm of the legendary black-maned Kalahari lion, often seen resting in the shade of acacia trees. After a hearty brunch, spend the midday hours relaxing in camp before heading out again in the cooler afternoon. Day 5
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Venture further into the heart of the Kalahari. Your guide may take you into Passarge Valley or Sundays Pans, where ancient riverbeds and open plains provide incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. Cheetahs are often spotted here, chasing down antelope across the open land, and bat-eared foxes can be seen darting between the grasses. Evenings are for sharing stories around the campfire, listening to the night sounds of the desert — from the howl of jackals to the quiet rustle of nocturnal animals. breakfast lunch dinner
Day 6
Central Kalahari – Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
Today you set off eastwards, leaving the grasslands of the Kalahari behind as you journey to the Makgadikgadi Pans. These ancient salt flats, remnants of a prehistoric super-lake, stretch endlessly to the horizon. Arrive at your private camp near the pans and take in the surreal beauty of this landscape, which alternates between stark desert and lush grasslands depending on the rains. breakfast lunch dinner
Day 7
Makgadikgadi Pans
Spend the day tracking one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles: the zebra migration. Each year, tens of thousands of Burchell’s zebras move across the pans, accompanied by wildebeest, springbok, and predators. With fewer tourists than East Africa’s migration, this experience feels raw and exclusive. Visit the famous Baines Baobabs, a cluster of ancient trees immortalised in 19th-century paintings, and enjoy the stillness of the pans at sunset when the horizon glows in pastel hues. breakfast lunch dinner
Day 8
Makgadikgadi Pans
Continue exploring the Makgadikgadi. This morning you take to the skies for a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight over the zebra herds. From above, the scale of the migration and the vastness of the salt pans truly come alive. The remainder of the day is spent on game drives, with chances to see predators shadowing the herds, flocks of flamingos in seasonal wetlands, and the haunting emptiness of the pans stretching in every direction. Day 9
Maun – Johannesburg (Internal Flight)
After an early breakfast and a final game drive, bid farewell to your camp crew and travel back to Maun. From here, take your flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. breakfast
Day 10
Depart Johannesburg
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time before being transferred to the airport for your international flight back to Kuala Lumpur. breakfast

Arrive Kuala Lumpur
