Day 2
Kyoto
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day exploration of Kyoto’s most iconic sights, beginning with Kinkakuji Temple, the dazzling Golden Pavilion covered in gold leaf, followed by a walk through Gion, Kyoto’s renowned geisha district with its traditional wooden machiya houses. Visit the lantern-lit Yasaka Shrine near Gion and stroll along the charming Hanamikoji Street, lined with beautifully preserved teahouses, before heading to Fushimi Inari Taisha, the historic Shinto shrine famous for its seemingly endless path of vibrant red torii gates. Day 3
Kyoto - Kobe - Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day tour starting with a visit to Himeji Castle, Japan’s most iconic and best-preserved feudal castle, followed by a stroll through Karo Yashiki-ato Park, a historic site built on the grounds of a former samurai residence. Enjoy a gourmet Kobe beef lunch, savouring one of Japan’s most famous culinary delights, before heading up to Mount Rokko for breathtaking panoramic views over Kobe and Osaka, and spending time at Rokko Garden Terrace, an observation and shopping area set high above the city. Day 4
Osaka - Wakayama - Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day tour beginning with a visit to Wakayama Castle, a historic hilltop fortress offering panoramic views and classic Japanese architecture. Continue to the lively Kuroshio Market, renowned for its fresh seafood and exciting live tuna-cutting shows, then enjoy a peaceful walk through Suiken Park and Yosuien Garden, known for their serene landscapes and traditional garden design. Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day tour starting with a visit to Osaka Castle Park, a spacious public park surrounding the iconic Osaka Castle (entrance ticket to the castle is not included and can be purchased on the spot if interested). Continue to Shitennoji Temple, one of Japan’s oldest temples founded in the 6th century, before ending the day at Dotonbori, Osaka’s vibrant entertainment district famous for its dazzling neon lights and irresistible street food.
