Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Keflavik - Reykjavik

Arrival at Keflavik International airport , then take the pre-arrange shared transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik. After check in , spend the day at own leisure or take a stroll in the old city center. Dinner this evening is at your leisure , making dinner a wonderful way to get better acquainted with Iceland's capital. Please note early check-in is not guaranteed. Most hotels will be happy to store your luggage if you are not able to check in early.

Day 2

Thingvellir – Geysir – Gullfoss

Breakfast at hotel , then meet your guide in the hotel's lobby. Start your adventure by visiting the fascinating Aurora Reykjavik Northern Lights Centre for a great introduction to northern lights, how they are formed .You’ll also get tips about how to capture northern lights on film. Then depart Reykjavik and head onwards to Thingvellir National Park (UNESCO World Heritage site) where the world’s oldest parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. Continue to the geothermal fields of Geysir with bubbling mud pools and the high-spouting Strokkur hot spring.Then visit the two-tiered Gullfoss waterfall, a spectacular sight in winter when frozen mid-cascade. Stop at Skalholt, Iceland’s capital “city” during the Middle Ages and now a culture center with a beautiful church. During the day, you will also visit the town of Laugarvatn . Visit a unique outdoor geothermal bakery where sweet Icelandic rye bread is baked in hot sands. Get the chance to taste some of the freshly baked bread, hot from the ground. If weather conditions are right, your guide will take you on a northern lights hunt on foot in the area outside your hotel tonight, or on the evening of Day 3 or 4. Dinner and overnight in South Iceland. Northern Lights Centre – National Park with Geological Wonders – Lively Geysers – The Famous Golden Falls breakfast dinner

Day 3

Iceland’s South Shore

Breakfast at hotel , then drive along the South Shore.This part of Iceland is home to the wonderful LAVA Centre, where you can enjoy both the exhibit and viewing an interesting film about Icelandic volcanoes at the Centre’s cinema. If the skies are clear, you might see the area’s two most famous volcanoes in the distance: Mount Hekla and Eyjafjallajokull ,also possibly catch a glimpse of the Westman Islands archipelago off the coast of Iceland. Stop at the spectacular waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. If trail conditions are right, you might be able to walk behind the ribbon-like Seljalandsfoss falls. Skogafoss is a beautifully shaped waterfall with interesting history geologically Head onwards, passing Myrdalsjokull Glacier to visit Reynisfjara beach. Take a walk on the black sand, admiring rock formations and thundering waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Cross Eldhraun, a vast lava field created from a very destructive 18th-century eruption as you head into Southeast Iceland. The snows of winter make this landscape into something very mysterious. Dinner and overnight stay in the Kirkjubaejarklaustur area. Waterfalls – The LAVA Centre – Glacial Views – Black Sand Beaches breakfast dinner

Day 4

Vatnajokull National Park – Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon

Breakfast at hotel. Today will be in a world of glaciers as we'll visit the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park, the largest one in Western Europe. Visit Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon for breath-taking sight of floating icebergs and nearby Diamond Beach, with icebergs settle on the black sands. Next view the Svinafellsjokull, one of the most beautiful glacial “tongues” that are slowly creeping down from Vatnajokull. Also visit the national park’s famous Skaftafell area, a site of outstanding natural beauty dominated by several magnificent glaciers After your amazing day, return to your hotel. Day 5

Hveragerdi – Blue Lagoon – Reykjavik

Breakfast at hotel and head back along the beautiful South Coast . Visit the village of Hveragerdi, which is one of the few sites in the world located directly in the middle of a geothermal area. You’ll visit a horse farm where you can enjoy petting these friendly horses and snapping a few selfies with them. Also taste some sweet refreshments that are traditionally served on Icelandic farms. Turn onto a southern coastal road and go through the surreal landscapes of the Reykjanes peninsula, where you can enjoy a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon, a unique wonder of nature in the middle of a black lava field. Return to Reykjavik, The evening is open for you to enjoy your own activities. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Reykjavik. Greenhouse Village – Icelandic Horses – Thundering Waves – Geothermal Lagoon breakfast

Day 6

Reykjavik - Departure

Breakfast at your hotel , then take the pre-arrange shared transfer to the international airport for your departure flight. Good bye from the Land of Fire and Ice and we wish you a pleasant trip back to your homeland ! breakfast
