Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Chengdu - Lhasa

Upon arrival, meet & greet by our representative and transfer to your flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Lhasa, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free and easy. lunch dinner

Day 2

Lhasa

After breakfast, visit Nanshan Park to enjoy stunning views of the Potala Palace reflected in the park’s pond, ideal for photography and a leisurely stroll, then proceed to Sera Monastery to witness the lively and unique monk debates, a traditional Tibetan practice of philosophical discussion. Continue to Barkhor Street, a bustling market surrounding Jokhang Temple where visitors can experience local Tibetan culture and shop for souvenirs, and conclude the day at Jokhang Temple, the spiritual heart of Lhasa, marveling at its sacred architecture and religious significance. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 3

Lhasa

After breakfast, visit the iconic Potala Palace, the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama and a symbol of Tibetan culture, exploring its grand halls, chapels, and treasures. Then proceed to Yaowangshan Scenic Viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the Potala Palace and the surrounding city, ideal for photography, and conclude with a stroll around Potala Palace Square, the lively public area at the foot of the palace where locals gather and take in the magnificent view. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 4

Lhasa - Shigatse

After breakfast, depart Lhasa and visit Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s most sacred and scenic lakes, renowned for its turquoise waters and surrounding snow-capped peaks. Continue to Karola Glacier, a spectacular natural site with dramatic ice formations, ideal for photography and enjoying the scenery, before driving onward to Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city, where you will check in to the hotel for an overnight stay. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 5

Shigatse - New Everest

After breakfast, depart Shigatse and pass through Dingri County, a scenic Tibetan region on the way to Mount Everest. Stop at Gawu La Pass to capture stunning views of Mount Everest, perfect for photography and admiring the majestic Himalayan landscape, then continue to the New Everest Base Camp to experience the awe-inspiring proximity to the world’s highest peak and take memorable photos. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 6

New Everest - Saga

After breakfast, witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest, an unforgettable experience as the first light illuminates the world’s highest peak. Then visit Paiku Tso Lake, a stunning turquoise high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains and pristine Tibetan landscapes, and admire views of Shishapangma, the 14th highest mountain in the world across the border. The day concludes with a drive to Saga, a small town in western Tibet, for overnight stay and rest. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 7

Saga - Tarqin

After breakfast, travel from Saga to Manasarovar Lake, one of Tibet’s most sacred lakes, revered for its spiritual significance and stunning turquoise waters. Continue to Rakshastal Lake, also known as the “Ghost Lake,” noted for its dramatic and stark beauty, contrasting with the nearby sacred lake, and then proceed to Mount Kailash (Gang Rinpoche), a holy mountain for Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, and Bon followers, exploring its sacred surroundings. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 8

Tarqin - Zanda

After breakfast, start the day with a sunrise photography session at Mount Kailash (Gang Rinpoche), one of Tibet’s most sacred peaks, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, then continue to the Zanda Earth Forest, a unique landscape of eroded clay formations and dramatic terrain, often referred to as the “Tibetan Badlands.” breakfast lunch dinner

Day 9

Zanda - Ali

After breakfast, visit the ancient Guge Kingdom ruins, a remarkable archaeological site in western Tibet featuring cliffside palaces, monasteries, and well-preserved murals that showcase the region’s rich history and culture, then continue the journey to Ali, a remote Tibetan town that serves as a base for exploring the area’s unique landscapes, high plateaus, and cultural heritage. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 10

Ali - Gaize County

After breakfast, depart Ali and visit a Salt Lake, a striking high-altitude lake known for its sparkling white salt flats and unique landscape. Continue to Darebu Co Lake, a serene lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, ideal for photography and appreciating the natural beauty of western Tibet, then proceed to Gaize County, a remote Tibetan town, for overnight stay and rest.

Day 11

Gaize County - Nyima County

After breakfast, depart Gaize County and visit Dong Co Lake, a high-altitude lake known for its crystal-clear waters and tranquil surroundings. Continue to explore the Qiangtang National Nature Reserve, a vast protected area home to unique wildlife such as wild yaks, Tibetan antelopes, and snow leopards, as well as expansive grasslands, then proceed to Nyima County, a remote town in northern Tibet, for overnight stay. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 12

Nyima County - Bange County

After breakfast, depart Nyima County and visit the Sky Tree, a scenic landmark offering panoramic views of the surrounding Tibetan plateau. Day 13

Bange County - Lhasa

After breakfast, depart Bangor County and enjoy a scenic drive around Namtso Lake, one of Tibet’s most sacred and breathtaking lakes, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and snow-capped mountain backdrop. Continue through Damxung County, a pastoral area known for its grasslands and high-altitude landscapes, before returning to Lhasa City in the evening for hotel check-in and overnight stay. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 14

Lhasa

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Lhasa during the morning to relax, explore independently, or do some last-minute shopping, then in the afternoon visit two popular “Instagram-worthy” spots in the city, ideal for photography and capturing memorable moments. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 15

Lhasa - Chengdu

After breakfast, transfer to Lhasa airport for a morning flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, in the afternoon explore Kuanzhai Alley, a historic district known for its traditional architecture, local snacks, and lively atmosphere, followed by a Sichuan Opera performance featuring the spectacular and traditional face-changing (Bian Lian) show. breakfast lunch dinner

Day 16

Departure Chengdu

After breakfast, enjoy free time for shopping and exploring Chengdu’s popular commercial areas, including Chunxi Road, International Finance Square (IFS), and Taikoo Li, where you can experience modern city life, boutiques, and local snacks, before transferring to Chengdu airport for your flight back to Malaysia. breakfast
